Football League Predictions
The Football League Predictions returns for round 36. Hull kicked off the action last night, with a 1-0 defeat at Birmingham and failed to go Top… can the others take advantage.. Check out our Acca at the bottom of the page.
Burnley have made a mini breakaway and the only one of the top 4 teams showing any kind of form, they face another tricky away tie at Huddersfield though. Middlesbrough have 2 games in hand but the goals have dried up, even with the big money signing made in January. Hull also have a game in hand but we wait to see how they have recovered from the Arsenal defeat.
Derby have a 4 point cushion keeping them in the playoff places, but with many more results like the midweek defeat to QPR that could be in serious threat, they travel to Rotherham this weekend before facing the Mighty Nottingham Forest the week after.
Burton Albion still hold a 4 point lead over Wigan, Gillingham are slipping away into the pack which looks to be making it a 2 horse race for the title. Burton are at home to Fleetwood Town which should be straight forward enough, Wigan Athletic travel to bottom of the table Colchester United, who had gone 19 games without a win before their 2-1 win in midweek
Northampton, it would appear, have it wrapped up, with a 12 point lead at the top over Plymouth and Oxford trail them by just a couple of points, the battle appears to be for the remaining to Automatic places and the Playoffs.
Portsmouth are coming on strong and showing some good form, they are ay home to Newport and feature in our Acca below.
